I have served Guilford County schools for over 30 years as a pre-service teacher, teacher, assistant principal, and now principal. The Guilford Elementary community has been “home” for the past seven years and I am honored to be your school principal. My passion lies in creating a school environment where students, families and staff feel loved, supported, and celebrated. Throughout my time at Guilford, I’ve focused on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth. I believe in leading with empathy and purpose, and am committed to helping every child feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Brooke Willis- Assistant Principal

Kelly Hoyme has served as Curriculum Facilitator at Guilford Elementary since 2019. She began her teaching career in 2004 and has taught multiple grade levels, including 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th, primarily within Guilford County Schools. With a strong passion for mathematics education, she is a certified Illustrative Mathematics Instructor and has taught Math for Elementary Teachers at Guilford College.

Mrs. Lofters grew up in Raleigh and has called the Triad home since her college years at UNCG, where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She has over two decades of experience in education, including 17 years teaching 4th and 5th grade, and now serves as curriculum facilitator at Guilford Elementary. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their two teenage boys. She is excited to continue supporting the students, families, and staff at GES!

Ms. Fitz began her education career in 1999. After 20 years teaching high school Spanish and managing a rural K-8 library, she discovered her true passion: helping students become the best version of themselves. She believes every student's definition of success is unique, and with the right tools, every student can achieve it. Ms. Fitz is dedicated to supporting students and their families in developing those essential tools for success.
